Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be hurt to need an evaluation by a physical therapist. In fact, we recommend everyone get a neuromusculoskeletal evaluation by a physical therapist at least annually, before beginning a sport season, or before starting a new exercise program. We generally do not wait to have a painful cavity before seeing our dentist; why should we do that with the rest of our body? You’d be surprised how many common aging and activity-related ailments can be prevented or delayed with the right corrective routine up front.
